Maine Line Magazine Archive Volume 36
They say "all good things must come to an end" - and Volume 36 is that for the original Maine Line Magazine as produced by the Bangor and Aroostook. From the first issue to the last, Richard W. Sprague, was involved. From 1960 onward as the editor. His title would vary over the years, ending with Senior Vice President. Per the editorial from then president David J. Hughes in the Fall 1990 issue it was a combination of factors that ceased publication of the Maine Line, but the biggest was that Mr. Sprague was retiring. It would have been very nice had the Maine Line (and Mr. Sprague) continued for one more year, the 1991 100th birthday celebration was only a few months away. Alas, it was not to be.
