Maine Line Magazine Archive Volume 27
Volume 27 lacks a bit in the creative front cover department - repeating past formats with almost perfect clarity. What it lacks in creative cover treatment is made up for in the breadth of topics covered in the magazine. Ending the decade of the 1970s we see that the railroad has begun to get healthier again, financially, but we see the losses of track and the refrigerator car fleet. Investment in the remaining physical plant is strong and things are, overall, looking up.
