Timetables

For over 90 years the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad issued public timetables. The railroad was chartered in 1891 and the last passenger train ran on September 4, 1961. Buses became a major force on the B&A in 1936 and bus service was continued until January 21, 1984. 

In cooperation with the Bangor Historical Society and various private collectors, here on the Maine Line website this collection of timetables is perhaps the largest known to be freely available. Although not complete, we are proud to make these available to the public. Please reach out if you have any additions and enjoy the collection!
