Timetable - September 29, 1941

"Serving The Nation in the cause of National Defense" The United States had not declared war when this timetable went into effect. Which makes this patriotic cover and theme of stars across the top and bottom somewhat interesting. This color scheme and the star pattern on top and bottom would continue into 1946, actually running longer than the US was officially involved in the war.
Despite the patriotic cover and colors, the railroad is continuing to promote hunting in Northern Maine, railroad travel as being the easy and affordable way to take a vacation and even offering a summary of 1941 Maine hunting laws.
Buses are still running between Patten and Sherman and Presque Isle and Mapleton. Dining trains are still being promoted and little seems to have changed schedule wise across the board.
