Timetable - September 28, 1931

Much like the previous timetable compared to the one before that, this one feels more like a revision than something radically different. No photo on the covers this time, only a promotion for The Northern Telegraph Co., connected to the Western Union network. The railroad has certainly gotten its monies worth out of the Fast Freight ad featuring locomotive 100 as it returns on the inside double page. The tables of train schedules themselves look nearly identical to the previous. There is still no scheduled service on the Medford Cutoff. Tourist, Pullman cars and sleeping cars are still being pushed and on page 20 you can find a listing of Game Bird and Game Animal seasons in the State of Maine. The railroad is promoting not just itself - but Maine.
