Timetable - September 25, 1944

Note: This timetable has a handwritten note on it referencing 1944 - In addition the REA advertisement references 1944 and the wording seems to indicate that is the current year. The timetable itself does not list a year. It is most likely that this is 1944, however the September 25, 1945 timetable appears to be identical, right down to the lack of a year on the covers. It is the editor's opinion that this is the 1944 timetable and the timetable listed in this collection as 1945 has been misdated. 

In the previous timetable we noted a lack of a return train in the Phair to Fort Fairfield section. It would seem this was either an oversight in two timetables (one would think that unlikely) or there really was no return train or bus. The Bus Service timetable section has been reorganized to reflect what is now apparently through service all the way to Fort Kent with a morning departure from Bangor.
