Timetable - October 4, 1897

The difference a year makes! The previous timetable we looked at was from October 1896 and a branch has been built to Limestone, which was not even listed on the map as proposed a year earlier. The branch to Patten has also gone from proposed to completed on the map, listed as the P&S RR, one presumes that must be the Patten and Sherman. A connecting train at Patten Junction is listed in the timetable but few details are given. The Caribou to Limestone line is listed, train numbers have been assigned, but no schedule has been placed on the timetable. The names for some of the passenger trains which appeared in 1896 have vanished.
