Timetable - October 1, 1928
The previous 1928 Timetable, from July 2, appears to have been released purely to advise that there was no longer direct service to and from Bangor Union Station on Bangor and Aroostook trains. This one, October 1, has page 7 devoted entirely to 'Information for Passengers From and to Bangor'. Evidently, the Bangor and Aroostook had made an effort to coordinate with the Bangor Hydro-Electric Company's trolleys. The service to Charleston on the trolley passed under the B&A's Main Line in North Bangor. With the train unable to service Bangor directly, the Hydro was providing a connection to downtown Bangor from North Bangor. Although this location had been serviced by the trolley line since the line was built, one presumes that closer coordination between the two was established. Although the trolley did not get one to Bangor's Union Station, it did get one into the general area.
