Timetable - November 25, 1957

A striking look for this timetable and an interesting description - Passenger Train Schedules with Bus Connections. Of course we know that a little less than four years later, buses would be all that remained.
For the first time in a very long while, the Aroostook Flyer name has been dropped from the timetable. In fact, only the Potatoland Special remains on the main line run. The name does not even appear within the timetable itself - just below it. In an interesting move, trains #9 and #12 are still on the timetable, running between Derby and Greenville. Buses and trains are running daily-except-Sunday. A bus has taken over for the missing Aroostook Flyer. This represents the first time the Potatoland Special has been on a timetable and the Aroostook Flyer has not.
