Timetable - November 16, 1931
Potato harvesting in Maine once again graces the covers of this timetable, but the photo itself looks suspiciously familiar. (Look at the September 29, 1930 timetable cover) The inside double page however has a whole new photograph featuring a MDT Reefer car. The statistics have been updated for the 1930-1931 winter and 34,410 cars of potatoes left the Bangor and Aroostook during that winter. The timeframe is pretty much the same as the previous advertisement. A few changes appear compared to earlier timetables, but there is still no passenger service on the Medford Cutoff.
Telegraph service, reduction of taxes on railroads, Parlor and Pullman service along with the usual Railway Express Agency advertisement all take their places in the back pages. Page 19 is devoted to suggesting that heavy freight stay on the rails and page 20 talks about the lowest rate of Grade Crossing accidents in the past 8 years.
