Timetable - May 8, 1922
War time regulation has been gone for over two years by the time this timetable went into effect, however, we still have the minimalist style the United States Railroad Administration imposed in use. We are however beginning to see some emergence from that regulation crowd. The previous timetable in the collection contained a note about Freight Rates and the Cost of Living - this one has gone back to the pre-war policy of promoting Aroostook County as a vacation spot. Further, they describe Aroostook County as available for farmers and advertise cheap hardwood. Also announced is train 57 - a Fast Freight Service with overnight service from Bangor to Aroostook County.
