Timetable - June 6, 1947

Compared to the last timetable, the inside double cover ad and color scheme have not changed. On the Through Train page, the timetable now explicitly mentions that Southbound Potatoland Special coach passengers WILL change trains at Northern Maine Junction. No longer an option apparently. The bus service between Patten, Sherman and Island Falls has been expanded. It now comprises of Patten - Sherman - Island Falls - Oakfield and Houlton. This service is still listed under the rail section, despite being a bus only service for years. Speaking of buses - services continue to be changed to provide better service. Services across the board have been changed - towns added and in some cases the daily-except-Sunday has gone to a daily service.
