Timetable - Bus - October 29, 1961

The first timetable in this collection after passenger rail was discontinued we see a radical new look and new photos. Get used to this image and format, you will see it again. Although there is no caption information for the photo, (nor would one really expect any) the buildings in the background remind your editor of the University of Maine in Orono. At this time, the buses were not stopping there. To be fair, the bus also says it is 'Chartered' (barely visible) so this could be, literally, anywhere. 
Schedule wise, there is a pair of daily buses in both directions out of and to Bangor. One pair starts / ends in Van Buren, the other goes all the way to Fort Kent. There is also a daily-except-Sunday Service from Bangor to Millinocket. Although there would be some time changes, these services would be offered for years. There is also a daily-except-Sunday service from Presque Isle to Fort Kent.
