Timetable - Bus - August 27, 1951
The bus service is continuing to improve and change - now we have service as far as Moose River, extending the coverage far beyond what the railroad ever had with its passenger trains. Buses are now running seven days a week (although the times change on Sundays) all the way from Bangor to Moose River and return. Connections and through bus service from New York City all the way to Bangor is offered with connections all the way to Fort Kent possible. Local service is still running six days a week between Caribou and Presque Isle, but Limestone and Fort Fairfield are included in this service.
The bus service was initially started to allow the railroad to take off trains that were losing money and replace them with a cheaper bus - by this point - its clear that the bus service has taken on a life of its own.
