Timetable - April 28, 1958

Time is winding down on B&A passenger train service. Main line service is down to one train - the Potatoland Special. Only one other train remains, the Derby to Greenville and return mixed. Due to schedule changes, there is no direct connection to the main line trains anymore. The Northbound Potatoland will drop you at Derby just before or just after 6:30 AM (Monday has a different schedule) and you will need to find something to do for about an hour and a half while you wait for the 8 AM departure of #9. Arriving at Greenville at 10:10 - you best do whatever you want to do quickly, as the train leaves again at 11:00. Assuming you do catch the return train, #12, you'll be back at Derby at 1:10 PM. You have until 8:30 PM - over 7 hours - before the Southbound Potatoland will be by. Bus? None of them stop at Derby. Hope you brought something to read!
