Timetable - April 26, 1948

Although the color scheme and double page advertisement have not been altered, the effective date and time have been moved from the bottom to near the top of the timetable. A small change, but one that helps should someone be looking at it through a timetable rack where the bottom of the timetable might be obscured. Schedule wise, the Northbound Potatoland Special (and therefore train 9 to Greenville) are back to picking up their passengers at Northern Maine Junction. The Flying Yankee is still making the same move with the Aroostook Flyer and the Kennebec Limited is picking up at NMJ from the Southbound Flyer. The Southbound Potatoland is still running through to Bangor, without stopping at NMJ. Given that this seems to be a re-occurring change, it is possible that this was driven more by the Boston and Maine / Maine Central than the B&A. Other than that - no major changes seem to have happened on either the rail or bus side of things.
